Minister: Rev. Sue Millar. Sue came to Becontree Avenue in the autumn of 2011, taking responsibility for the pastoral care of the fellowship, outreach of the gospel to this community and of course the leading of Sunday services and mid week Prayer, Praise and Bible studies, all of which are supported by the diaconate. Born into a family with very little connection with church life, Sue was brought up in Romford. After her conversion in her early teens and finding and developing her gifts in her local Church, Sue went on to study at Spurgeon’s College moving onto her previous South Harrow Baptist Church where Sue stayed for about nineteen years. As well as having a passion for sharing the Good News of the Gospel, Sue has a wide variety of interests. Sue says of herself "I value time spent with my friends and family and I enjoy all aspects of being a dog owner including walking in the park or countryside. I like to read as well as draw and when I get the opportunity, to go to the theatre.
